We're proud to present Rhian Sheehan's second dive into his catalogue with the new release Recollections, Vol. 2.

Music for reflection, Recollections, Vol. 2 is a 22-track selection of remastered-ambient works from past releases, containing live & previously unreleased material.

The release features tracks remastered specifically for the release, creating a cohesive trip across Sheehan’s catalogue. Also included is a previously-unavailable track from the audio-visual installation Voices For The Future, which saw an original score by Sheehan feature alongside additional music from Brian Eno, dialogue by Greta Thunberg, and visuals from Joseph Michael projected on the UN Headquarters Building in NYC.

Featuring a number of tracks also previously only available on vinyl, Recollections, Vol. 2 showcases the ambient & textural side of Sheehan’s catalogue.

Anna Coddington returns with her new album, Beams, out November 27. With an approach of ruthless self-expression, this album sees Coddington dive into the personal to draw out the universal.

Leaning into her indie sensibilities, while maintaining a pop edge, Beams sees Coddington exploring her place in the world across 10 tracks as a mother, musician, Māori & human being. After spending long periods of her career shying away from these subjects, Beams sees Coddington tackling them head on & at full speed, with honest abandon.

Featuring the singles 'Beams ft. Louis Baker' & 'The Saint (with stains)' & produced by APRA Silver Scroll-winning duo Steph Brown & Fen Ikner aka LIPS, Beams captures an artist & producer working cohesively, combining the indie/electronic-pop style of LIPS alongside Coddington’s penchant for storytelling. Each track explores a different aspect of Coddington’s personal life, and through that, exposes a plethora of universal, wonderful human emotions.

To celebrate the upcoming release, Spark & Spotify are thrilled to announce Coddington will be performing the new album live as part of the Spark Sessions on November 19 from Roundhead Studios.

The Session will see Coddington & her full band premiere the album ahead of the release, & will be live streamed from 7pm on the Spark Facebook page.
