Harry Charles follows up the release of his album Nova with the single ‘Drift’ - another example of the uplifting deep house-meets-downtempo sound he has been crafting specifically for live shows.
‘Drift’ is one of the moodier tracks from the album, with subtle layers of voice and guitar, supported by the main synth line, intricate percussion and a driving drum groove.
The single features a new edit, allowing the listener to experience the track in a more streamlined way, with the full-length album version also included.

Hailing from New Zealand, Harry Charles made his mark in Berlin, where he honed his craft and developed an electrifying style characterized by downtempo beats, slow house rhythms, live instrumentation, and heartfelt vocal performances. He has releases on a dozen boutique European labels, as well as spots on the lineups of prestigious festivals and clubs across Europe.
Now based back in Aotearoa, Harry released his second album Movement on Loop Electronic in May 2025, a 10-track, 46-minute journey of organic house, ambient textures, and intimate songwriting.
