L.A.B return with their first new music for 2023 with the single ‘Casanova’. The track is lifted from their upcoming sixth album, and arrives just as the band get set to take on Europe & the United Kingdom for the first time this October.

L.A.B bring their unique soul, funk & reggae-inspired sound to their own version of LeVert’s late-80s classic, incorporating the harmonies & soulful vibe which has seen their audience continue to grow across the world with each release. The track is a taste of summer, and another tease ahead of the band’s highly anticipated new album.

While uncharacteristically quiet with releases through 2023, the year has already seen L.A.B perform sold-out tours across NZ, Australia and the United States, all the while putting the finishing touches on new music. Following on from this release, the band will head to Australia for two festival shows, before their debuts in Amsterdam & London. After winning Best Group, Best Song, Best Album and Best Roots Artist two years in a row at the New Zealand Music Awards and taking out Best Record at the 2022 Rolling Stone Awards, their highly-anticipated new album will be their first since late-2021.

The coming summer will see them perform two special shows alongside the legendary Sublime With Rome. With the new album in the bag, they’ll close out the summer by returning to the Byron Bay Bluesfest, with more shows across the globe to be announced.
