L.A.B return with two live renditions of ‘Proud Man’ and ‘Mr Reggae’ taken from their album L.A.B V. Filmed and recorded live at Massey Studios, Toi Rauwhārangi College of Creative Arts, the live rendition of the tracks showcase L.A.B’s electric live sound which has seen them sell out multiple events and tours across Aotearoa and Australia.

Following on from multiple number one singles & albums, alongside a growing list of platinum sales & awards across New Zealand & Australia, this is the band's first ever release featuring a small collection of live tracks.

The opening track ‘Proud Man’ features the core band accompanied by a horn section, saxophonist and percussionist combining forces to bring L.A.B’s signature groove but with a couple twists and turns along the way to showcase the bands dynamic sound.

With just the core members playing, the band's live acoustic rendition of ‘Mr Reggae’ encapsulates everything L.A.B. The track features rhythmic reggae strumming, a strong bass and percussion groove, four-part vocal harmonies and some jazz piano sprinkled on top.

This release comes ahead of two massive arena sized shows happening this winter at Wellington’s TSB Arena and Hamilton’s Globox Arena (FKA Claudelands Arena) in correlation with Matariki.
