Tāmaki Makaurau indie-rockers PARK RD return with their new single, ‘Secrets’. Following from their single ‘Ride’ which saw them sell-out shows across NZ, ‘Secrets’ is another taste as the band inch closer to the release of their debut album.

The release comes as the band get set for a busy few months of live shows, including two headline shows in Hamilton & Ohakune to support the single release. The boys will then be playing alongside Summer Thieves to celebrate their album release at Auckland's Powerstation, before heading to SXSW Sydney for their first Australian shows.

Showcasing a growing maturity in their sound, ‘Secrets’ is rooted in indie-rock/pop, while delivering a track ready made for the live stage. A track that has been road tested live over the past six months, ‘Secrets’ shows the guitar-driven sound & singalong vocals from frontman Tom Chamberlain that has seen their audience grow with each live show. Drawing inspiration from bands such as DMA’s & The 1975, ‘Secrets’ shows everything that makes PARK RD a band to watch - a catchy pop/rock tune with the guitars front and centre.

PARK RD have established themselves as one of NZ’s most-exciting new bands, on the back of two EPs, a series of singles, & a killer live show. The past 12 months has seen the band perform at festivals such as Rhythm & Vines, Soundsplash & Le Currents, and support Spacey Jane & Summer Thieves. ‘Secrets’ shows the sound of their debut album, a band showing potential & polish well beyond their years.
