Sunset Tsunami return with fresh heat for 2026, unveiling their latest single ‘Fire Got To Burn’, a new collaboration featuring Aotearoa reggae royalty Israel Starr and The Mighty Asterix.

Following the January release of their debut album Dub Till Dawn, Sunset Tsunami continue their momentum with a track that dives deeper into the sound system tradition, celebrating reggae’s rich culture of rhythm, voice and message.

Built from the original instrumental of album standout ‘Pass The Rizla’, this new vocal  version arrives fully alight with dynamic toasting, soulful delivery, and recognisable Kiwi reggae spirit. Israel Starr’s voice brings weight and warmth to the track, while The Mighty Asterix adds their signature style, bridging generations of reggae influence.

The single marks another exciting chapter for Sunset Tsunami as they ride the wave of their debut release into a year of new music and collaborations.

Sunset Tsunami are an electronic duo mixing live instrumentation with beat-driven production.
