Loop is stoked to present Corrella live at Ōhope Beach this summer!

With their sun-soaked, reggae-inspired sound, Corrella have become one of the hottest live bands in Aotearoa. Named for the naval base where the band met, their 2023 debut album Road From 26 announced their arrival, led by the sleeper hit 'Blue Eyed Māori' - a laid-back earworm that has spent over 50 weeks at Number One on the Official NZ Top 20 Singles chart, holding the all-time record for the most weeks at Number One.

November 2024's follow-up album Skeletons was named by Rolling Stone as one of the 50 Best New Zealand Albums of 2024, backed by festival performances at Rhythm and Vines and Homegrown and a run of sold-out shows across Australasia alongside L.A.B. Since then Corrella have honed their live show with tours across NZ and Australia and support slots for the likes of UB40 and L.A.B, most recently with new single 'Not I' - a defiant anthem thrown through Corrella's reggae/pop lens.

Driven by rhythm guitarist and hype man Te Naawe Tupe (Ngāi Tūhoe) and vocalists Pipiwharauroa and Ngawaiwera Campbell (Ngāi Te Rangi, Ngāti He, Ngāti Pukenga), Corrella bring their summer to Ohope Beach for one of only a handful of headline shows this season - rolling through tracks from their growing catalogue and maybe even a sneak peek of what's next.

Don't miss Corrella live at Ōhope Beach Tavern this summer. Support to be announced.

Tickets are on sale 10am Thursday 12 November from Loop.co.nz
