Neo-soul artist Taylah is an emerging New Zealand artist with a soul-drenched voice and lyrical storytelling. Of Ngā Puhi descent, her music is honest and direct, echoing the likes of Lola Young, Leon Bridges and Samm Henshaw. Joining the cast of Fly My Pretties for Elemental in 2024, Taylah contributed three waita: 'Red Flags', 'Fire Fighting' and 'Okay'. 

Working towards her next EP for Loop, Taylah has released a live acoustic video for song 'Soft’. Filmed at The Civic Theatre in Tāmaki, in front of Wharenui Harikoa (Created by Lissy and Rudi), this waiata is a reminder to hold onto your softness, even when everything is pushing you to harden up. It is the ultimate act of defiance!
