Heavy Galactic Funk from the far reaches of space…

Black Comet, the multi-dimensional galactic funk collective founded by Ninja, Laughton Kora (Kora, L.A.B, Fly My Pretties) teamed with Dan Antunovich, Poihakena Reid & Adam Tobeck, delivers a groove-based journey infused with storytelling.

With Laughton’s theatrical background, this oozes through into the funky tunes created and performed by the band with high-energy and tight performances, while they vibe off each other’s musical force.

2024 saw the band releasing their debut album ‘Episode 1: Looking For a New Planet’, featuring the singles ‘Ooh Yeah Baby’, 'R.C' and a special remix of ‘Sleep’ featuring Louis Baker on vocals.
The follow up album came a year later, with 'Episode Two: The Force Between Us' released in July 2025.

2026 will see the release of more singles as they work toward the next chapter of the galactic narrative.
