Black Comet’s debut EP, Live @ Totara Street, captures the project in its natural setting: live, direct, and driven by groove.

Recorded at Totara Street in Mount Maunganui, the three-track live release features Tiki Taane on the mix, and showcases Black Comet’s heavy galactic funk sound. Across the EP, the band lean into a mix of funk, soul, R&B, and psychedelic live energy, setting the foundation for the project’s future releases.

The release includes live versions of Everybody, Highway To Funk, and Sleep, presenting Black Comet as a performance-led project built around musicianship, movement, and collaboration.

Live @ Totara Street marked the first major release from Black Comet and introduced the band’s expansive live sound to streaming platforms.
