Ria Hall returns with her first new music in nearly two years with the stunning new waiata ‘Cause & Effect’!

This is the first taste of a new project inspired by current political, social and racial climate, one that musically brings together elements of classic reggae and soul.

‘Cause & Effect’ combines Hall’s stunning voice with an all-star band, creating a sound that evokes memories of classic 70’s reggae and soul, with a modern, slick and conscious tilt.

Co-written and produced by Laughton Kora, the track features Kora himself alongside Rob Ruha & Troy Kingi on backing vocals, Ara Adams-Tamatea & Miharo Gregory (L.A.B.), Zane Graham (Sons of Zion), and a horn section led and arranged by Warren Maxwell (TrinityRoots).

The new album is set for release early 2020.
