Fly My Pretties will head to the Waitaki Arts Festival for the first time for a special one-off performance at the beautiful Oamaru Opera House. This show will see them bringing songs from their seventh album Elemental to life, alongside a range of the classics that have made Fly My Pretties Aotearoa's favourite musical collective.
Led by founder Barnaby Weir, the band is joined by longtime collaborators Laughton Kora, Iraia Whakamoe & Ryan Prebble (The Nudge), Nigel Patterson (The Black Seeds) and Aaron Stewart, alongside standout vocalists AJA, Taylah and Louis TM.
They will be heading to the far south for the first time in over seven years, and performing in Ōamaru for the first time ever in their illustrious career. The band responsible for songs such as 'Bag Of Money', 'Heavy Weather', 'All The Goodness' and countless more will bring their live show to the Waitaki Arts Festival for a show not to be missed.
The Waitaki Arts Festival brings ten packed days of music, theatre, comedy, literature, visual arts, workshops, food, wine and community celebrations to Ōamaru and the wider Waitaki. Fly My Pretties will be kicking off the proceedings on Friday 16 October with a supremely talented cast of musicians.
