Rooted in the rhythms of the earth and reaching towards the cosmos, Midnite Sun is SUB-TRIBE’s second EP and a testament to the band’s ever-evolving sound and vision. Across four tracks, the release invites listeners into a dub-fusion landscape where darkness and light coalesce, intertwining the roots of reggae with contemporary musical expression.

The release opens with 'Maui', a haunting and rebellious track that delves into the abyss of society while igniting hope and resilience, before moving into 'Rubba', a burst of infectious optimism where vintage ragga-style verses, dancehall hooks, lush vocal harmony and cascading horns collide in celebration.

The single 'Slow Down' blends vintage and modern flavours into a contemporary reggae-infused hip-hop tune, offering lyrical snapshots of fatherhood and humble migration while encouraging listeners to pause and reflect. Closing track 'Red Earth' brings the journey to a mystical end, with Middle Eastern-inspired dub, hypnotic trumpet solos and a powerful message of unity, individuality and resistance against injustice.
